m-0nii asked: i wanted to ask you something, i asked my boss at work to change my nametag at work to my chosen name, insted of my given name, and he said its agenst policy and can't. i mean its not like i work at the white house. i work at lubys which is a restaurant. is there any legal standings i have to use? my boss is known for being sexest and Homophobic.

K: I could be wrong but I believe they don’t legally have to, or probably can’t change your name on the system or name tag, until you’ve legally changed your name.

  2. liam0liver said: there is no such law. people use nicknames on nametags all the time. he’s just being a douche. you have to keep your legal name for getting paid and all of that, but a name tag is a piece of plastic and he’s just an ass.
